Poetry at Park Plaza. Ah, this is sweet mousakka to my ears!

  • AEB

Not to be pedantic, Nabe (or more so than usual), but I don’t believe there IS such a thing as sweet moussaka. It’s a savory dish.

Yo, AEB, stop harshing my pun. The alliteration of the phrase Poetry at Park Plaza is enough to get my point across. You surely didn’t miss the mousakka-music connection, so I can only presume you’re in one of your malakas moods.

Jest joshin’, Nabe. Said it with my best cold-weather wink….

Hmmm…maybe I should’ve hedded it “Poetry at Park Plaza with Pastitsia”.

You’re making me think of a visit to Annapolis some years back, where I noticed a restaurant near the waterfront called Spiro’s. Naturally, I wondered if it belonged to a certain former occupant of the governor’s mansion there. I should’ve checked the menu to see if it featured “nattering shish-ka-nabobs of negativism” or if one of the breakfast offerings was “pablum for the permissivists”.

Yes, with perhaps a touch more inspiration from BoBo Belinsky.
