This in from Judy Stanton of the Brooklyn Heights Association:
[T]he DSNY is working tomorrow (SUNDAY), and the very diligent chief of the DSNY garage that services our district has called me at home to advise that he’s sending out collection trucks tomorrow morning, starting at 7 AM, to pick
up recylables as follows in Brooklyn Heights.
Streets NORTH OF JORALEMON STREET will be serviced Sunday (tomorrow) morning. Trucks start out at 7 AM.
Streets SOUTH OF JORALEMON STREET will be serviced Sunday night, starting at 7 PM and continuing into Monday morning.
If you live in an apartment building, you may need to alert your custodian because 311 does not have neighborhood
specific details. When I checked this afternoon, the 311 system did not have this update about tomorrow morning.
Regular garbage collection is expected (per DSNY) to resume next week “as normal” on Monday, Wednesday and Friday,
that is, unless we have more heavy snow.
