Montague Street residents David Fuller and Judith Jarosz, who have been Executive Director and Producing Artistic Director, respectively, of Theater Ten Ten in Manhattan, have established a new company, Theater 2020–Visions for a New Millennium, to be based here in Brooklyn Heights.
Theatermania.com: Judith Jarosz and David Fuller have announced the formation of Theater 2020. This new theater company builds upon the work of the recently disbanded Theater Ten Ten, where both artists were involved.
While the theater will be based in Brooklyn Heights, it will produce in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and upstate New York. Immediate plans for Theater 2020 include a winter Gala Benefit and a summer Shakespeare production, and tour. Specifics regarding these activities will be announced in the near future.
Fuller and Jarosz have also been honored by being named in nytheater.com’s 2010 people of the year.
