Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the
Brooklyn Historical Society, corner of Clinton and Pierrepont Streets, and
BRIC Rotunda Gallery, 33 Clinton Street, will co-host a panel discussion followed by a gallery talk in conjunction with the project
“Artist and Artifact: Re|Visioning Brooklyn’s Past”. The participating artists for tomorrow’s program are
Nora Herting,
Andres Vera Martinez,
Meredith Bergmann, and
Stanley Greenberg. The program will begin with a panel discussion by the artists at BHS from 6:00 to 7:00, followed by a gallery talk at BHS and at BRIC Rotunda Gallery, located a half block from BHS.
According to BHS:
Through Artist and Artifact, artists, performers and writers explored BHS’ historical collections for inspiration for original contemporary art works. The contemporary works are exhibited alongside the pieces from the BHS collections in this exhibition. Admission is free for all Artist and Artifact: Re|Visioning Brooklyn’s Past exhibition and programs.
