Hoochie Heights: Taste Some Moonshine Tonight

Heights Chateau [123 Atlantic Avenue] will host  a tasting tonight from 5:30pm – 8:30pm of real moonshine from Kings County Distillery:

White lightning, mountain dew, hooch are just a couple names that true Moonshine goes by. However, Kings County moonshine is a tad more sophisticated, hailing products from New York State + Scotland. Stop by and meet the gentleman behind New York City’s Oldest Whiskey Distillery.

Have you tried this hooch?

LOL. Allow me to browbeat the copy editor on duty.

I think moonshine is technically any liquor from an unlicensed still. Meaning not this. Looking forward to tasting it, though!

Yikes! Copy editor just returned to find this. Planning to go to moonshine tasting later. Probably won’t be in shape for copy editing afterwards.

Claude this is what happens when Phred, my intern from radio days, takes over when you’re gone. Oy!

Tried the moonshine. Not so harsh as what i tried in Florida many years ago. Still (ahem!) waiting for their bourbon and unaged rye.
