Another Tornado Watch

The National Weather Service has issued this statement:

.SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE LOCALLY STRONG WIND GUSTS… HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLY AN ISOLATED TORNADO LATE THIS AFTERNOON…
AT 315 PM… RADAR INDICATED BANDS OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER NEW JERSEY… FROM SUSSEX COUNTY SOUTHWARD INTO SOUTHERN GLOUCESTER COUNTY… AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. ANY HEAVY SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE LOCALLY STRONG WIND GUSTS… AND AN ISOLATED TORNADO IS STILL NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM.

Maybe we are in Kansas anymore.

I’m guessing this is the reason for all the low-flying jumbos.

Sounds like a big convergence of two weather systems coming our way late Thursday. But it is not as bad as 113 degrees yesterday and 100 degrees today in Los Angeles!

According to the weather report, we’ll get the remnants of tropical storm Nicole on Thursday.
