Karl, our man with cam, returns to Pier 1 and finds a breeding ground for monarch butterflies, perhaps deliberately encouraged by the planting of common boneset.

    It’s great to see our amazing waterfront finally being revitalized after 30+ years of gross negligence by our politicians/bureaucrats!

    Does anyone know if you are allowed to use a beach umbrella in the grass areas of the park? I checked the park website and there is no mention of an umbrella ban.

    @AmyinBH: I don’t know, but poking things into the lawn should be rewarded. It’s free aeration therapy, no?
