Mariane Pearl to Speak at St. Francis

Mariane Pearl, the widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, will guest lecture at St. Francis College [180 Remsen Street] on Monday March 10 at 12:30 pm.  The event, part of the Thomas J. Volpe Lecture Series, is free and open to the public. 

Pearl's memoir about her husband's murder by Islamic fundamentalists, A Mighty Heart, was made into a critically acclaimed motion picture starring Angelina Jolie. She is a co-founder of the Daniel Pearl Foundation.
