Street signs on Middagh Street between Hicks and Willow were flipped today to read “M Street and 30th” for the filming of the George Clooney/Brad Pitt film Burn After Reading. The film is a “spy comedy” set in Georgetown.
Pitt was spotted on set behind the wheel of a car at 9 AM today. Considering that one of the world’s biggest celebrities was in the area filming a major motion picture the mood was considerably low key and the crew very friendly. BHB also spotted a “DC taxicab” parked on Willow Street. (click on photo for larger view)
The shoot will last all day culminating with a “t-bone” crash scene.
