Happy Retirement Mr. Wong

This dispatch from our pals at Instaputz:

It's not exactly news on the level of Apple or Urban, but Mr. Wong of the Chinese Laundry — near Subway — has retired at the tender age of 85. The place is being run by a much younger woman whose name I didn't catch. The joint's been there for 60 years, which I assume is a record for Montague. Ah, also, the place is finally being updated with a mechanized conveyor belt…

60 years and it hasn’t changed an iota in all that time. Thanks and congratulations to Mr. Wong for his long years of service and for keeping the block real.
BTW, Variety Mart is running a close second in the age department, even if it did receive a recent facelift.
