I used Movers Not Shakers for a move from Manhattan to BH. They are like FlatRate and were very good; no hassles, quick and cheaper than FlatRate. I think they are based nearby in Brooklyn.

As for tailor’s, I use Coleman Cleaners on Hicks for basic’s. I hear that the tailor on Henry next to the 2/3 entrance is also good.

Hi all! I moved here in September, after several years in Manhattan and a brief stint in Astoria. My all-important question is: Where do you go for good bagels?I usually stop by the deli on Court and Schermerhorn, but does anyone have other favorites? Thanks!

Best neighborhood bagels are Montague Bagels, between Hicks & Henry. Sublime…

Justaneighbor — Sonny picked up all of the boxes I had. If it’s any help, I ordered from metroboxes.com. Their prices aren’t awful, and they deliver amazingly fast. Good luck with your move!
