The Brooklyn Eagle reports today that Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has not only put the Standish Arms Hotel on the block, but 5 other residential properties as well:
Brooklyn Eagle: Watchtower to Sell Six Properties: A recent eport that the Watchtower Bibleand Tract Society would be selling its building at 169 Columbia Heights,formerly the Standish Arms Hotel,was confirmed and augmented yesterday with the announcement that theStandish and five other Watchtowerproperties would be sold. The six properties are all residentialand all in Brooklyn Heights, accordingto David Semonian, a spokespersonfor the Watchtower Society, alsoknown as the Jehovah’s Witnesses. “Three are being sold as a portfolio,and the other three are being sold separately,” said Semonian in an email.
