Rolling Stone Bocces with Heights Band

Brooklyn based band Pela have been named a Rolling Stone magazine Artist to Watch.  As part of their RS profile, they played bocce [video] with writer Amelia McDonell-Parry at FloydNY.

Their music, thankfully, is better than their bocce. As a matter of fact, Capo Homer Fink of Brigate Bocce challenges the band to a match, but only if they promise to play "for fun".

I was at their CD-release show at Mercury Lounge last night, had a great time, great energy. They have another show coming up in Brooklyn in a few weeks I believe, highly recommended.
