Open Streets Montague, sponsored by Montague Street BID and the Brooklyn Heights Association, returns this Saturday, August 26 from noon to 7:00 PM. All parked cars must be moved from Montague between Clinton Street and the Promenade before noon; an emergency lane will be open during the event. From 1:00 to 2:00 PM Rogue Connections, Brooklyn Heights residents who do acoustic folk and rock, will perform between Hicks and Henry streets. From 3:00 to 5:30 PM the Brooklyn Center for the Arts will present a variety of musical and dance performances and activities and a fitness warm up session with celebrity fitness trainer Rhys Athayde, founder of Phantom Fitness.
