The Poplar Street Community Garden (photo by C. Scales), located at the northwest corner of Poplar and Hicks streets, will hold a “gardening party”, to which all–adults and children–are invited, on Saturday, June 15 from noon to 3:00 p.m. There will be a beekeeping show-and-tell, refreshments, live music, some light get-your-hands-dirty gardening fun, not to mention the beauty of the Garden. It’s all free.
