City Councilmember and cat savior Steve Levin has a kitty (not the one in the photo) of $1 million to spend on projects in his district, which includes Brooklyn Heights, that have been recommended by constituents. The nominees for this year are listed here. Voting will be held at various locations throughout the district at various times, including at P.S. 8, Hicks and Middagh streets, on Friday morning, April 17 from 8:00 to 10:00. Voting is open to all district residents 14 years of age or older; to vote, you must show proof of address within the district.
