Watch: Brooklyn Heights Preservationists Otis and Nancy Pearsall on Treasures of New York

Channel 13’s “Treasures of New York” will present the story of the preservation movement in New York City, prominently featuring the efforts to preserve Brooklyn Heights led by Otis and Nancy Pearsall Sunday night.

    As much as I have talked with him, worked with him on neighborhood issues, read his papers, It never ceases to amaze me how much Otis has done for this community and this City. There is always more to learn. The PBS piece was a really excellent reminder of what a few committed people can achieve.
    Kudos to Kent Barwick and Simeon Bankoff as well.

    I caught the program as a repeat, on Sunday night, the 15th. Never knew they lived in the wonderful house next to the dawn redwood on Willow!
