Plymouth Church’s annual Yankee Fair will be this coming Saturday, November 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be lots of activities for kids, available for the purchase of a $20 wristband per child (if there are three or more children in your family the flat rate is $50), including bounce houses, a Ferris wheel, carnival games, arts and crafts, a magic show, a concert, face painting, and one popcorn or cotton candy. Pony rides and a dress-up photo booth are available for an additional $5 each. You can reserve wristbands here. All proceeds from the Fair benefit the restoration and maintenance of the Church’s historic buildings, improvements to its playground, and to St. John’s Bread and Life, “the Brooklyn-based initiative that fights hunger and poverty right here in our community.”
Adults as well as kids will be able to browse the many items on sale at the Fair, including the Underground Thrift Store, and food will be served, featuring a chili bar. There’s more information here.
