On Saturday, September 6 from noon to 4:00 p.m. Brooklyn Bridge Park will host a “Mets Jam Music Festival” on the Pier 2 uplands.
Head to Pier 2 for an afternoon of activity including a live performance by Oh Honey and appearances by Mr. & Mrs. Met, John Franco, Edgardo Alfonso, Doc Gooden and Ed Kranepool. Free fun family activities include batting cages, speed pitch, dunk tank, and more! Win Mets tickets and sports memorabilia!
There’s more information here. Meanwhile, Smorgasburg will migrate to the Pier 2 uplands on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the U.S. Open Viewing Picnic will continue on the Harbor View Lawn, Pier 1.
On Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Bargemusic will present clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein and pianist/composer Michael Brown performing works by Bernstein, Brahms, Poulenc, and Weber. On Sunday afternoon at 4:00 the Cassatt Quartet, joined by pianist Ursula Oppens, will play works by Dvorak, Beethoven, and Franck. There’s more information and buy tickets here.
