The 39th annual Atlantic Antic will be on Sunday, September 29, from noon to 6:00 p.m., on Atlantic Avenue from Hicks street to 4th Avenue. There will be “over 500 craft and food vendors and 100 local retailers and restaurants, with one block dedicated just to kids!” From the presser:
Keeping the tradition alive, many of your go-to favorites are back again this year! Waterfront Ale House, will be featuring a 14 hour smoked brisket, as well as their very own pastrami and homemade mustard served on a pretzel roll. Table 87 Coal Oven Pizza, the 1st in Brooklyn to serve coal oven pizza by the slice, will be serving their traditional Margarita pizza, as well as their specialty square seasonal vegetable pizza. Brooklyn food favorites, like Mile End, Steve’s Authentic Key Lime Pie, and Red Hook Lobster Pound will also be there along with Sixpoint Brewery serving up the annual Antic Amber. New to the avenue is Free Range Wine, making their Antic debut featuring an array of over 200 fine wines. So much and more to explore!
In addition to vendors, there will be lots of free entertainment. In the past, this has included belly dancers along with bands performing in various styles. This year’s musical line-up includes ska band Tri-State Conspiracy, R&B group Brandi & the Alexanders, and Brooklyn born alt country band I’ll Be John Brown. The popular Broadway Booth will be back, “with fun prizes and giveaways from the award-winning show Kinky Boots, as well as Phantom of the Opera, and Les Miserables.”
