Our run of good luck was bound to end. This weekend, from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Monday, there will be no Brooklyn bound service at the High Street station, as A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between West 4th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street/Metro Tech in Brooklyn. Options are to get off at York Street in DUMBO and walk uphill, or go to Jay Street and catch a Manhattan bound A or C back to High Street.
The following week, there are no planned diversions or cancellations that have any serious effect on service at any local stations. There will be no 3 train service in either direction between 12:15 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, but 2 trains will be running on the same line.
