Brooklyn Papers' Go Brooklyn reports this week on a new Atlantic Avenue bar that opened last weekend, Buck's Lodge at 145 Atlantic Avenue. If your idea of fun is the 90s faux honky tonk documented in the film Coyote Ugly (and bar of the same name) and personified by the Meat Packing District's Hogs and Heifers, then you're in luck. Bar owner/manager JD tells the paper, “Think of it as Hogs & Heifers comes to Brooklyn…We’re going to cover the walls with hunting signs, road signs, fishing equipment, and all the country western props and paraphernalia we can find. I’m going to park my Harley right in front, so people know that bikers are welcome.”
