The NY Post writes about the wedding of Heights Chiropractic and Rehabilitation owner Rudy Gehrman’s and Avellyn Pilates & Movement owner Linda Salerno in today’s edition. The couple’s 70s themed nuptial featured guests in full costumes from the era and a marching band. The couple will be honeymooning first in Montauk and then Africa according to the report:
NY Post: Immediately after being announced husband and wife, the Hungry Marching Band burst into the Grand Prospect Hall’s atrium to lead their 300 costume-clad guests to the reception, which included a costume contest and a performance by the Lady Circus of NYC, complete with stilt-walkers and fire-twirlers. The couple shared their first dance to Hot Chocolate’s “You Sexy Thing” and continued the celebration with an after-party that lasted until 4 a.m.
Gehrman is originally from Buffalo, N.Y. while his bride is a native of Boston, MA.
