The Brooklyn Historical Society, corner of Clinton and Pierrepont, is presenting a workshop, “Research Your House” this Saturday, November 13, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. This appears to be similar to the event BHS held in conjunction with the Brooklyn Heights Association last March.
Brooklyn Daily Eagle: During this half-day workshop, homeowners can discover the amazing history of their homes using BHS images, records and documents.
Attendees will also be introduced to the BHS’ library collections used in-house and building research aids, and will learn to piece together the social history of a Brooklyn home or even an entire block.
The fee for the workshop is $20 for BHS members, $25 for others. Registration is required; please call (718) 222-4111.
