Don’t hide your nerdy inner-self, celebrate it this Friday at Galapagos Art Space in Dumbo! “Nerd Nite” is Galapagos’ first ever themed presentation evening. Festivities include Word Freak author Stefan Fatsis discussing Scrabble, WSJ journalist Mary Pilon diving into the depths of Monopoly, Seth Porges displaying his pinball knowledge, and Neil Janowitz re-telling his 2007 Tetris presentation.
On top of the board game madness, 25 female and 25 male nerds can participate in speed dating! Could you find your Scrabble-loving soulmate? Buy your tickets online for $10. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 8pm.
