The One World Symphony, under the direction of Sung Jin Hong, will present a free concert, along with a fund-raising rummage sale, this Saturday, July 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, Clinton and Montague streets. The orchestra will perform works by Bach, Dvorak, Gershwin, Joplin, and Sousa, as well as cabaret and jazz standards. Featured musicians will be pianist Christopher Johnson and accordionist Lars Potteiger.
Those who wish to donate items to the rummage sale may take them to the Church Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00. This will coincide with a special preview sale for those who want first pick of the sale items. Prices at the sale will be “firm” but “like really ridiculously low”, and “all sales are final.”
