Word On The Street at 75 Livingston

As if the Chopper Wars hadn’t been grueling enough—we recently received a tip that a 7-Eleven was possibly moving into the retail space at 75 Livingston St. We put on our investigative hats and went to the scene, where Fred the Safety Manager helpfully set things straight. For those who don’t know, a new facade—not Slurpees and hot dogs—is the reason for the scaffolding and construction. The facade is nearly finished, and there is no work currently being done on the ground-floor retail space. So that’s the word on the street, but if you’ve heard otherwise, let us know.

    I walked by another 75—75 Clinton Street—on Tuesday, and the first floor, at least, is being aggressively gutted.

    The aggressive gutting at 75 Clinton hasn’t extended to the Rite Aid store at the corner of Montague, at least not yet.
