In a NYC Council race where the term “progressive” is being thrown around like a rag doll in a bear cage, an actual progressive Democrat will be in Brooklyn Heights today to make an endorsement. Ohio congressman and 2008 Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich will be at Doug Biviano’s campaign HQ at 89 Montague Street today (9/12) at 11am to announce his official endorsement.
Biviano worked on the Kucinich campaign last year. The candidate says in a press release issued last night, “to have his support in my fight for reform is just a tremendous honor. I invite everybody to come down to our office and meet this great champion of the progressive movement.”
