Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

Barring unforseen circumstances this weekend – late Friday night, June 7 to early Monday morning, June 10 – will be a “green light” weekend, as there are no planned cancellations, re-routings, or station skips affecting service at any local stations apart from 2 trains running on a reduced schedule – every 12 minutes. Indeed, there will be extra sevice at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as N trains, which normally only serve these stations late at night, will be running on the R line all weekend.

The following work week – Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14 – late nights Monday to Tuesday through Thursday to Friday there will be no F train service between Jay Street-MetroTech and Church Avenue. Free shuttle buses will serve all F stops between these stations. These same late nights there will be no R train service a Court Street or the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, but N trains should be running normally.

Good news! The Cadman Plaza West A/C entrance is open. Only the “up” escalator is working, so be prepared to go down many steps.

These are the PLANNED service changes for this weekend and for the following week. Always check MTA Info for unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling.
