Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend – late Friday evening, May 31 through early Monday morning, June 3 – during the day Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 there will be no 3 train service in either direction at Clark Street or at the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall. During these same daytimes 2 trains should be running, but on a reduced scchedule – every 12 minutes. Both 2 and 3 trains should be running normally at night. During the day Saturday and Sunday there will be only Brooklyn bound service at Court Street or at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as Manhattan bound R trains will be re-routed to the Q line between DeKalb Avenue and Canal Street, and N trains do not run on the R line during the day on weekends. Late nights Friday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday, and Sunday to Monday there will be no R trains running in either direction at these stations, nor any Manhattan bound N trains, as they will be re-routed to the Q. There should be Brooklyn bound N service.

THe following work week – Monday morning, June 3 through Friday evening, June 7 – late nights Monday to Tuesday through Thursday to Friday, there will be no F train service in either direction between Jay Street-Metro Tech and Church Avenue. Shuttle buses will provide alternative service.

Keep in mind that the Cadman Plaza West entrance to the High Street station will remain closed until “early summer.”
