The Brooklyn Public Library has announced that after Sunday, December 17 the Brooklyn Heights Branch, along with some other branches, will no longer be open on Sundays, thanks to cuts to the Library’s budget. The Library announced that the budget cuts
will also require us to reduce spending on library materials, programming, and building maintenance.
We know how much Brooklynites rely on the vital resources the Library provides, and we understand these are difficult changes. We will continue to do our best to meet your needs and keep you informed about our efforts to protect library funding.
