Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend — Late Friday evening, August 25 to early Monday morning, August 28 — there will be no Manhattan bound service at High Street, as Manhattan bound A and C trains will be re-routed to the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech in Brooklyn and West 4th Street-Washington Square in Manhattan. This means extra Manhattan bound service at York Street in DUMBO. There will also be extra Manhattan bound service at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as Manhattan bound N trains, which normally only serve these stations late at night, will be re-routed to the R line all weekend. 2 trains will be running on a reduced schedule, every 12 minutes, during the weekend.

The following work week — Monday morning, August 28 through early Friday evening, September 1 — late nights Monday to Tuesday through Thursday to Friday there will be no R service in either direction at Court Street or at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech; however, Brooklyn bound N trains should be running normally and there will be another N/Q do-si-do for Manhattan bound service as Manhattan bound Q trains will be running on the N/R line while N trains will be re-routed to the Q line. Each day during rush hours F trains will be running on a reduced schedule, while R trains will be on a more frequent schedule.
