According to Channel 2 CBS News New York, our air quality, because of smoke and dust being conveyed south from wildfires in Canada, is at a dangerously bad level. Everyone, especially those with health conditions that make them more sensitive, should remain indoors as much as possible. Those who go outside should wear masks of the M-95 type or better. Your correspondent took the photo above as a news crew were packing up their gear at about 6:00 pm. According to Notify NYC alternate side parking rules are suspended tomorrow (Thursday, June 8).
