Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This will be another “green light weekend” for service at local stations, as there are no planned re-routings or cancellations directly affecting service at those stations. However, late nights and early mornings the following week — Monday, December 19 to Friday, December 23 — there will be two changes affecting local service. There will be no 3 train service in either direction. For those traveling to or from Brooklyn, 4 trains will be making all 3 stops between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and New Lots Avenue and 2 trains will be making all other 3 stops. Also, during theses same late night-early morning hours, there will be no Brooklyn bound service at High Street, as Brooklyn bound A trains will be running on the F line between West 4th Street-Washington Square in Manhattan and Jay Street-MetroTech.

These are the PLANNED service changes directly affecting local stations. Always check MTA Info for unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling.
