Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This coming weekend — late Friday evening, September 30 to early Monday morning, October 3, there will be no service in either direction at Court Street or at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as N and R trains will be diverted to the Q line going over the Manhattan Bridge between DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn and Canal Street in Manhattan, and there will be no daytime R service between Whitehall Street in Manhattan and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center on Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2. All other lines should be running normally.

The following work week, just like the previous two weeks, late nights Monday, October 3 to Tuesday, October 4; Tuesday to Wednesday, October 5; Wednesday to Thursday, October 6; and Thursday to Friday, October 7 there will be no service in either direction at York Street in DUMBO, but extra service at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as F trains will be diverted to the R line in both directions between 57th Street-7th Avenue in Manhattan and 36th Street in Brooklyn. Use A, C, or D trains (see below) to or from the High Street station as an alternative. There will be extra service in both directions at High Street as D trains will be diverted to the A/C line between 145th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street.
