Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend’s alerts look like those from last week. For the entire weekend, late Friday evening, September 16 to early Monday morning, September 19, there will be no Brooklyn bound service at High Street, as A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between West 4th Street-Washington Square in Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech in Brooklyn. On Saturday and Sunday there will be extra Manhattan bound service at Court Street and at the N/R platform at Jay Street-MetroTech, as Manhattan bound N trains will be diverted to the R line on those days.

The following work week, late nights Monday, September 19 to Tuesday, September 20; Tuesday to Wednesday, September 21; Wednesday to Thursday, September 22; and Thursday to Friday, September 23 there will be no service in either direction at York Street in DUMBO, but extra service at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street-MetroTech, as F trains will be diverted to the R line in both directions between 57th Street-7th Avenue in Manhattan and 36th Street in Brooklyn. Use A, C, or D trains (see below) to or from the High Street station as an alternative. There will be extra service in both directions at High Street as D trains will be diverted to the A/C line between 145th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street.

These are the planned service changes directly affecting service at local stations. Always check MTA Info for unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling.
