The Eagle’s Mary Frost reports that sometime early on Thursday morning “[a] thief or thieves shattered the glass front door of an AT&T store at 160 Montague St.” The store’s manager, Luis Cruz, was alerted by the company providing security. He “discovered that four iPhones and three Apple Watches had been stolen.”
The Eagle story notes that
[a]ccording to the NYPD’s Compstat crime statistics portal burglary in the 84th Precinct [which includes Brooklyn Heights] is up 78 percent year to date.
