The Repast Baroque Ensemble will return to the First Unitarian Church’s McKinney Chapel, 121 Pierrepont Street (between Monroe Place and Clinton) this coming Wednesday evening, May 25, starting at 7:00. The program, “French Visions,” will combine performances of music by French composers of the Baroque era with clips from early twentieth century French silent films, including Journey to the Moon by Georges Méliès. Joining Repast for this concert will be Margaret Owens (photo) on oboe. There’s more information here. You may purchase tickets here; tickets may also be purchased at the door.
