This weekend — late Friday night Friday, April 1 to early Monday morning April 4 — there will be no Manhattan bound service at High Street and no C train service in either direction. Manhattan bound A trains will be running on the F line from Jay Street-MetroTech to Canal Street in Manhattan, so will be stopping at York Street in DUMBO. Also, A trains will not be running between Jay Street and Utica Avenue in Brooklyn; shuttle buses will make stops between. All weekend there will be no Manhattan bound N or R service at Court Street or the N/R platforms at Jay Street, but Manhattan bound Q trains will be making these stops. To get to N/R stops in lower Manhattan, take the Q to West 4th and change there for a Brooklyn bound N or R. Apart from the continuing closure of the 2/3 station at Clark Street, which may re-open this month, there are no service changes affecting 2, 3, or 4 train service at local stations. However, for those traveling into or from Brooklyn, Manhattan bound trains will not be stopping at Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum, Grand Army Plaza, or Bergen Street. To get back from these stations, take a Brooklyn bound 2. 3. or 4 to Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College and catch a Manhattan bound train there.
The following work week — Monday morning, April 4 to Friday evening, April 8 — late nights Monday to Tuesday through Thursday to Friday Q trains will replace Manhattan bound N/R service at Court Street and at the N/R platforms at Jay Street. To get to N/R stops in lower Manhattan, take the Q to West 4th and change there for a Brooklyn bound N or R.
These are the planned service changes directly affecting service at local stations. Always check MTA Info for unplanned service changes that may affect local service or service on other parts of your trip, or for planned service changes that affect stations to or from which you may be traveling.
