Brooklyn Heights Community Fridge Featured in Real Simple Magazine

The Brooklyn Heights Community Fridge, and founders Rev. Adriene Thorne and Caroline Koster, were featured in Real Simple, an online and print magazine with millions of readers, in “11 Inspiring Stories of Neighbors Banding Together.” Congrats to the founders on yet another well-deserved accolade.

    I donated some food to this that I either shouldn’t have bought or couldn’t eat any more. I’ve never actually opened the fridge and looked inside. Happily, I don’t have food insecurity, but glad others who do have this local option.
