Repast Baroque Ensemble Presents “Fantasia” at First Unitarian Wednesday

The Repast Baroque Ensemble returns to the First Unitarian Church, McKinney Chapel, 121 Pierrepont Street (between Monroe Place and Clinton Street) this Wednesday evening, March 16 starting at 7:30 PM. This concert, “Fantasia”, will take us

[f]rom lush seventeenth-century instrumental works by Biber, Schmelzer, and Louis Couperin to later contrapuntal experiments by Bach and Telemann, [as] Repast traces the spirit of fantasy and improvisation throughout the Baroque.

The concert will feature guest musicians Natalie Kress on violin (photo) and Adam Cockerham on theorbo.
