Brooklyn Heights' favorite Irish actor, Gabriel Byrne, is in Scotland this week to take in the Edinburgh Film Festival. While there, Byrne accepted the Bank of Scotland Herald Angels Award for Aussie director Ray Lawrence's film Jindabyne, in which he stars. He also got his freak on with fellow thesps John Hurt, Charlize Theron and Alan Rickman at a reception held by Sir Sean Connery to celebrate the fest's 60th anniversary.
