The Danish Christmas Fair, or Julemarked, is back this weekend! It takes place at the Danish Seamen’s Church, 102 Willow Street, just south of Clark, on Saturday, November 20 and Sunday, November 21, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days.
We will serve our delicious homemade spherical Danish Pancakes, known as “aebleskiver” and our delicious version of mulled wine, known as “glögg” (the Pastor’s own recipe). And of course you will have the opportunity to try a Danish hotdog – with all the traditional toppings.
Your correspondent can attest to the scrumptiousness of the æbleskiver, the hotdogs, and the glögg, the last of which is especially welcome on a chilly day. The market will also feature many Danish or Danish style goods. There’s more information here.
COVID-19 precautions will be in effect. Masks are required indoors, and indoor dining requires proof of vaccination. Outdoor dining will also be available.
