The only planned change affecting service at local stations this weekend is that from late Saturday night, October 30 until late Sunday morning, October 31, Manhattan bound F trains will be re-routed to the A/C line between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street-Washington Square. This means extra Manhattan bound service at High Street, and no Manhattan bound service at York Street in DUMBO. To reach the LES stops on the F, take an A, C, or F to West 4th and catch a Brooklyn bound F there.
The following work week – Monday, November 1 through Friday, November 5 – during early mornings some Brooklyn bound 5 trains will be re-routed to the 2 line, and some will stop at Chambers Street in Manhattan. Be alert for announcements.
These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work week. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check New MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions. Happy Halloween!
