Qfwfq snapped this photo of an incident at Hicks and Montague Streets going on right now (11:55 am). Anyone have info?
Update: Gothamist Newsmap reports that the call is for a gas main break.
Update on the update: Nabe photog Marc Hermann reports:
Contractors digging up the street in front of 200 Hicks St. struck and ruptured a high-pressure gas main. Keyspan was on the scene within 30 minutes, and after another half hour or so had stopped the leak.
