Thanks to alert reader Jorale-man we know that River Deli, long a favorite of your correspondent, his wife and daughter, and several friends, which has been closed because of the pandemic, has established a GoFundMe site to take donations to help support their kitchen and floor staff during what may be a long closure. While the GoFundMe site shows they’ve exceeded their very modest ($100) goal, more will be needed if this proves to be (and we earnestly hope it won’t) a lengthy closure.
