Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Nearby

This weekend, Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23, there will be no Manhattan bound R or N service at Court Street or Jay Street, and no service in either direction during late night hours. Use 4 trains at Borough Hall as an option.

The following work week – Monday, February 24 to Friday, February 28, each night from about 11:45 p.m. until about 5:00 a.m.  there will be no service in either direction at Court Street or at the N/R platforms at Jay Street. Use 4 trains as an option. On Monday evening, February 24  at about 11:15 p.m. until about 5:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, February 25 there will be no Brooklyn bound service at York Street, as Brooklyn bound F trains will be diverted to the A/C line between West 4th Street and Jay Street. To reach Brooklyn from the LES stops on the F, take a Manhattan bound F to West 4th and change there for a Brooklyn bound A or F.  On Tuesday evening, February 25 at about  11:15  p.m until Wednesday morning at about 5:00 a.m. there will be no Manhattan bound service at York Street, as Manhattan bound F trains will be diverted to the A/C line between Jay Street and West 4th. T reach the LES stops on the F take an A or F from Jay Street to West 4th, and change there for a Brooklyn bound F.

These are the PLANNED service changes for the coming weekend and following work week that directly affect service at local stations. If you’re planning to take a train not affected by these planned changes, we urge you to first check MTA Info to see if there are any unplanned service disruptions.
