Beethoven’s 250th birthday is next year; but, if like my wife and I you have your clock radio tuned to WQXR, you know that the celebration is underway now. On this Sunday, October 27 at 4:00 p.m., at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, enter at 157 Montague Street (near Clinton), the Brooklyn Metro Chamber Orchestra will present Beethoven’s famous Fifth Symphony and his Piano Concerto Number 5 (“Emperor”). You may purchase tickets here.
