On Saturday evening, August 17 at 6:00, and again at 8:00 (no Friday concert this week), Bargemusic will present the St. Petersburg String Quartet (photo), joined by pianist Tao Lin performing works by Glazunov and Schumann.
On Sunday afternoon, August 18 at 2:00, pianist Steven Beck will play an all Bach concert, including several selections from The Well Tempered Clavier.
On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, details here. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
Bargemusic will take a short late summer break, with no concerts, and no Music in Motion, the weekend of Friday, August 23 through Sunday, August 25. Concerts will resume with a “Here and Now Labor Day Festival” Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1. Details here later.
