Bargemusic’s weekend begins Friday evening, August 9 at 7:00 when pianist Francine Kay (photo; princeton.edu) plays works of Suk, Kaprálová, Chopin, and Debussy.
On Saturday evening, August 10 at 6:00, and again at 8:00 the Amernet String Quartet will perform works by Beethoven, Daniel Asia, and Dvorak.
Cellist (and philosopher) Jeffrey Solow will, on Sunday afternoon, August 11 at 4:00, present the second of two concerts in which he will play, with commentary, the six cello suites of J.S. Bach. This Sunday Mr. Solow will play suites 4, 5, and 6.
On Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, details here. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
